Gorleston FC U9A 4 Gorleston Rangers 5 Gorleston FC U9A lost 5-4 to Gorleston Rangers in a friendly match. Rangers scored first in a fairly even start with both sides playing well and having a couple of chances, but Gorleston FC kept their shape well and made it hard for Rangers to break them down with Lewis having one of his best games at centre half and Ben working tirelessly alongside him. Again Gorleston made changes and Rangers took advantage, getting a couple of more goals. Gorleston weathered the storm and Kelsie got them back in it and went on to get a hat-trick. New boy, Shaun, who helped Gorleston out, had a great game and also scored from a corner. Mitchel had his best game for the club and Captian Kray won every ball in both positions he was used in. Kirk also did well. starting slowly, but didn't look out of place once his confidence grew and he won a few tackles. Adam was great in goal again. The team is getting better and better each week. |
