We were called out to collect Jack from a local Garden Centre. He had received extensive damage to his left shoulder and the staff at the Garden Centre had been feeding him for some time. As a result, Jack had become quite tame and was a favourite of the staff.

Whilst we did attempt to treat his injury and had some success in straightening the wing, the muscle damage is qutie extensive and he is unlikely to be able to use it well enough to fly.

His disability does not affect Jack at all and he lives in a large aviary with other birds. There are ramps and ladders in the aviary but Jack prefers to climb the sides up to the highest perch where he can boss the other birds around even though much of the time he is just half their size!

Jack is never likely to regain the use of his wing but as long as he is happy, there will be a place for him here.

Jack will remain with us for the rest of his life and as a permanent resident, you can sponsor him for just £9.99 through our ebay shop.
