BIRD
CAKE
You will
need:
- Bacon
fat, lard or meat dripping

Raisins, sultanas, apples or pears, finely chopped

A handful of bread crumbs

Grated Cheese
-
Yoghurt Pots or margarine Tubs

Empty the Suet or Lard into a saucepan and heat. Add the ingredients
and mix
thoroughly then add the flour or bread crumbs to thicken the mixture.
Turn
the heated mix into yogurt pots or small margarine tubs. Push a twig
or knotted piece of string into the mixture and leave in a cool place
to harden.Turn out the bird cake and tie to a tree or bird table.
