Whilst I have always loved pigeons, it does infuriate me that they continue to breed during the Winter months. Show them the slightest morsel of food and they’ll make a nest and lay eggs!! This tiny pigeon squab was found in November on the side of a road under a building. Luckily, he was found by a kind person and taken in to a local vet. Very weak and quite underweight, the parents obviously had not been able to find enough food to raise him. He will now be with us until Spring when he will be released with a number of other pigeons that we are currently caring for.
