Bruce came in to us from one of our volunteers. When we examined the hedgehog, we immediately noticed that both eyes were extremely swollen and infected. Bruce was probably out during the day because he couldn’t see well enough to tell if it was day or night.

Though Bruce is doing very well, he will be with us for the forseeable future as he is still in need of a substantial amount of treatment. We do not know as yet, the full extent of his injuries.
