Glamour Shot à la "Ab Fab"!

Catch up on the latest news with my Christmas 'Marmite' letter - love it or hate it, to read online or to print and read at your leisure, or print, fold and put on the mantelpiece! Happy Christmas!

I threw this design up very hastily in December 2010 - and hadn't touched it - until now! Oh dear!

I'd say these are random jottings from a broad, but I think that phrase has been used before, but this site does contains very random things about me and my life.

If you want to catch up on what I've been doing and where I'm at have a look at the 'A bit about me and mine' page - mine in this case being my beloved cats - my family you will find elsewhere.

I have been a pescatarian since the late 1990s - the cruelty in raising animals for human consumption is barbaric and the use of animals for testing anything is abhorrent - and dangerous to human health - so there's more about that in my 'Campaigning for animals page'.

Save Shepherd's Bush Streets (SSBS) was a campaigning group set up to fight Ken Livingtone (then Mayor of London - since defeated by Boris Johnson!) and his Transport for London's plans to run a light railway (tramway) down the Uxbridge Road. I was heavily involved in that so there's a page or two about how we set about it.

I was a huge fan of the Open University until its move to become more like a brick uni and it lost the ethos of being open to all. I've done a "few" courses, details of which you'll find on my study page.

I hope you find something interesting here!
