Do you provide a self drive service?
No our service needs a driver at all times, we can
either stay with you for the duration of your trip (at an
additional cost) or we will deliver to your destination and
return at the required time for the return journey.
How
many seats do your Vehicles have?
We have 8, 12, and 16 Seat Minibuses plus 18 to 53 Seat Coaches

Do
you provide a trailer service?
We have trailers that can be supplied for luggage or any
bulky equipment needed for travel, there will be at an
additional charge.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept all Major Credit and Debit cards (Details will be
taken over the phone

Cheque - please make payable to Nottingham Minibuses
Cash (Outward and return journeys to be paid on outward
Trip on the day of travel)
What insurance do you have?
We have fully comprehensive insurance along with Unlimited Public Liability insurance on each Vehicle.
What licences do your drivers hold?
All our drivers are Fully Qualified and hold a D1 PSV
required for driving up to a 16 Seat Minibus and a D
for any Vehicle over 16 Seats for hire or reward.
Do
you have the correct Licence for operating a Passenger
Carrying Service for Hire and Reward?
All Vehicles are covered by an Operators Licence issued by
the
Department for Transport,
VOSA
which is available for inspection at our Office along with
all
PSV
Certificates,
Insurance Certificate and Maintenance sheets
for all of our Vehicles.

VOSA is an
executive agency of the Department for Transport.
VOSA is
responsible for:
Processing
applications for licences to operate Buses (PSV)
Operating
and administering testing schemes for all vehicles,
including the supervision of the PSV/MOT testing scheme
Enforcing
the law on vehicles to ensure that they comply with legal
standards and regulations
Enforcing
drivers' hours and licensing requirements
Supporting
Traffic Commissioners to help them make informed decisions
on operator licensing, vocational drivers and bus
registration requirements
Providing
training and advice for commercial operators
Investigating vehicle accident, defects and recalls
Are
you a member of a breakdown service?
We have full membership with the AA with roadside
assistance and guaranteed relay of all
passengers in the event of a Vehicle breakdown. In the
Unlikely event of a breakdown the AA dispatch a patrol to
Repair the Vehicle at roadside, However if the Vehicle is
un-repairable then onward travel is Arranged.
What guarantees do you offer in the unlikelihood of a
breakdown for relocation?
Locally
Nottingham Minibuses has set up accounts with Taxi’s and
other Minibus companies around Nottingham, this would help
to transfer your group to there destination a lot quicker
than waiting for the AA or we will dispatch another Vehicle.
How
often are your Vehicles serviced?
Each Minibus under goes a full PSV maintenance check and
service every 10 weeks or 10,000 Miles.
Each Coach under goes a full PSV maintenance check every 4
weeks.
Does your Company run Police checks on your Drivers?
All drivers hold a current CRB Police record check. |
