Wednesday-evening Rides Map of venues
All of the Midweek Evening rides start at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays from the War Memorial in St Albans. Please ensure that you have front & rear lights.
We start most of our Sunday rides from one of the following places (we use the abbreviations WM, ACP, WhCP and Hertford.)
WM: War Memorial, St. Albans AL1 3HG
The War Memorial is at the northern end of St. Peters Street, near to the Blacksmiths Arms. If you are using a car to come to the start, please note there is no parking at the War Memorial, but a nearby convenient location is Bricket Road
ACP: ASDA Car Park, Hatfield AL10 0JW
We meet on east side of the ASDA, Hatfield store by the covered bike-parking facilty. If you are using a car to come to the start please do not park in the ASDA car park which has a two-hour parking-time limit. A convenient place to park is St Albans Road West
WhCP: East Lane Car Park, Wheathampstead AL4 8BS
We meet at the entrance to East Lane Car Park. East Lane is a small turning betwen The Bull and Jessamine Garage, both on the High Street Wheathampstead. If you are using a car to come to the start you can park here all day at no charge (but please do not park in The Bull car park). Please be aware that East Lane Car Park has an overhead barrier.
Hertford: Hart Statue, Parliament Square, Hertford SG14 1EX
We have occasional starts from Hertford at the Hart Statue in Parliament Square .
