The Minister pays regular visits to
the hospitals, nursing homes, etc,
as well as house calls in connection
with bereavements, counselling
needs, newcomers, etc; please inform
him of people in hospital. The
elders visit their districts at
least once a month. Requests for
other visits may be made by
e-mailing

or through the boxes in the church vestibule.

MSP David Whitton is the
guest speaker at the Guild meeting in the mid hall on Fri 13
Nov at 7:30 pm and Jean and Moira look forward to a large> turnout.
The Sunday School hosts "Stall in the Hall" on Sat 14 Nov between 10 am
and 2 pm. To book a table, cost £6, contact Louise Barry or Elaine
Stevens.
Tea, coffee and homemaking will also be on sale. Later in the evening our
annual Ceilidh with live band takes place in the main hall from 7:30
pm until 11 pm. Tickets are available from Social committee priced
£6 adults/ £4 children which includes a buffet.
On Sunday 15 Nov, we will be celebrating the Sacrament of Baptism, which
the Rev Mark Johnstone will lead at 11 am, with this week's lesson
taken from Mark Chapter 13. The Sunday School and Seekers will join
us at the beginning of our worship then retire to continue with
their age-related
activities. The crèche for children up to 3 years of age will be
available as usual in the church hall. At close of worship, members
and friends are encouraged to meet for tea, coffee and biscuits in
the main hall where the
Fairtrade stall will also be open for business.
