The Minister pays regular visits to the hospitals, nursing homes, etc, as well as house calls in connection with bereavements, counselling needs, newcomers, etc; please inform him of people in hospital. The elders visit  their districts at least once a month. Requests for other visits may be made by e-mailing Church Office or through the boxes in the church vestibule.

At St Mary’s we are grateful to those who maintain the church grounds and in particular our Memorial Garden.  The garden offers a permanent reminder in the form of a plaque and a living reminder through the planting of a rose.  At certain anniversaries, ie. Of birth, marriage or death some people find it helpful to place an additional symbolic memorial on or near the permanent plaque. The Kirk Session are aware that different things work for different people.  We would like to inform you that after an appropriate time any temporary memorial will be removed.  These will be retained for a period of time and can be collected from the church officer.

In the Name of the Kirk Session

Our Spring Fayre 2009  will have a holiday souvenir stall and Social convenor Mary Stirling requests members to donate a small gift from this year’s holiday.  If you have something to contribute please pass it to the social committee for storage until required.
