- How long will it take to record my songs?
- On average it takes a day per song depending on the complexity of the arrangement.
- Why does recording take so long?
- If you can do it first take then that's how long it takes. Most people need more time to get it right.
- Can we record our band live?
- Yes. A band can be recorded live either at a gig or in the studio. This approach however achieves limited results. In order to benefit fully from the studio, instruments are recorded individually giving full control of the finished product at the mixing stage. This applies whatever style you play in.
- Do I need to bring my own instruments/amps/drums?
- No. It's up to you. QWAX has everything you will need for your band to play and record but if you prefer then bring your own instruments.
- What preparations should I make before coming into the studio?
- The more rehearsal you can do before recording the better. Working things out in the studio is an expensive pass time.
- What if I have a song but I'm not in a band? How can I get the other parts done?
- No problem. The QWAX house band or individual players can back any style.
- How much will my recording session cost?
