The Creepers have split up and their new album 'Rock 'n' Roll Liquorice Flavour' will be their last.

Events surrounding their demise are vague, although a spokesman for the group's management claims it follows a 'stabbing incident' between band members on New Years Eve.

Marc Riley is currently working on new material with Simon Taylor who appeared on the last Creepers album. The finished product is due to appear on the same label, Red Rhino Records.

Eddie Fenn, long time drummer with The Creepers is shortly to release a new album with his band Bargepole, and other ex-Creepers are working on various other projects
