Electric Underfloor Heating Repairs

Service visits to newly appointed sites show that many heating systems are not operating in full and heating circuits thought to be unrepairable are abandoned. Contrary to popular belief electric underfloor heating circuits can be repaired, and with little disturbance to surroundings and normal activities.

Using a variety of sophisticated fault finding and locating equipment damage to heating cables can normally be pinpointed, restricting areas of excavation to a maximum of approximately 300x100mm. Cable repairs then a matter of careful excavation to reveal the damaged cable which is then jointed using pressure crimp tube connectors and shrink sleeve.

A full written report is then given to the customer explaining how the fault occurred and the condition of the remaining cable.
