Woodwarm Installation

1. Existing Room |
|
2. Cover Existing Floor with CHU woodwarm, and using normal under lay for areas where heating is not required. |

|
|
|
3. No Renovations: The overall thickness of CHU Woodwarm is 5.5mm which makes it ideal for use in both new building projects and refurbishments where floor height is sometimes critical. CHU Woodwarm can also be laid on other under lays to increase the height of the floor if required. |

4. Cable connection
One set of connectors |

5. Crimp wire into rear of connector (Note: Crimps are recommended). However, a good set of grips will achieve the same results (Important: The connection has to be secure as to stop arcing). |

6. Cut back CHU woodwarm where copper elements runs. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
7. Rear of CHU Woodwarm. Remove sections of underlay from foil (being careful not to cut elements). |
|
8. Squeeze connector onto element (picture 9). |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
9. Fixing connector |
|
10. Bend and secure pin over connector squeeze again. |
|

11. Repeat procedure marking sure alternate elements are connected. diagram 1, 2, 3. |

12. Secure end of CHU Woodwarm with tape provided |

13. Tape temperature sensor to CHU Woodwarm |

14. Cover temperature sensor with tape |

15. Final connection
Final connection to mains power recommended to be carried out by a qualified electrician |

16. Carry out installation of laminate/wood flooring as per manufacturer’s instructions, however some manufacturer recommend a moisture barrier between CHU Woodwarm and flooring. Earth screen is required for wet areas. (Please contact sales for further advice on 07989 382 218) |
