Most of all we welcome new members and would love you to visit us and give it a go. Let us know and we will contact you. We all had to start some where and everyone is willing to help.

In 1588 on Plymouth Hoe, Sir Francis Drake insisted on finishing his game of bowls before confronting the Spanish Armada.

We don't know if he won or lost his game, but he did go on to defeat the Spanish Armada.
