In this section we give you some of the background and history of the club, the green, coaching etcetera (see the links on the right).

Salisbury Bowls Club is a private members club founded 1912.

We are a mixed club with about 85 members, including social and junior members

We have a six rink lawn green, and facilities for indoor bowling, snooker tables and a comfortable clubhouse with licensed bar.

There is private car parking available.

Did you know?

A reference to "Bowls" first appeared in a statute of 1511 when Henry Vlll  confirmed enactments against unlawful games not repealed until 1845.

Artificers, labourers, apprentices, servants and the like were forbidden to play except at Christmas and then only at their masters house and within his presence.
