Use the internet to research the structures of crystals. Some links are provided below. Use search engines to find other sites.

Outcomes

Draw some crystal shapes (at least 2). Remember to name the crystals you draw and include a brief written description of their shapes.
Write a definition of the word crystal in your book.

Use the snowflake primer site (http://www.its.caltech.edu/~atomic/snowcrystals/primer/primer.htm ) to describe and explain the shapes of snow crystals.
Some people believe in crystal healing. Search the web to find out about this idea.
Scientists are unlikely to believe in crystal healing unless they carry out a fair experiment first. Write a method for a fair test to investigate scientifically whether some crystals can heal the sick. Include as much detail in your planned method as possible.
