TOUR 2008 - SATURDAY 24th MAY - THURSDAY 29th MAY

Saturday 24th May (Day One)

As our League fixtures against Pontypridd are postponed we are able to start tour on the Saturday. We are immediately going overseas as we have a fixture arranged against Bembridge on the Isle of Wight - they've promised cheap Magners and a Barbeque. Night out and an overnight stay in Ryde

Sunday 25th May (Day Two)
After a hearty breakfast and the first court session, we will drive to play our second match at Farley CC, just outside Salisbury in Wiltshire. Obviously the game won't take place until we had had Sunday Roast and a jar at the Hook & Glove Pub. After the match and a few more social beverages, we travel on to our accommodation in Bournemouth and enjoy an evening at leisure.

Monday 26th May (Day Three)

Would you believe that Glamorgan are playing Hampshire at the Rose Bowl so it's all off to support the Dragons...

.........

Tuesday 27th May (Day Four)

Another morning of breakfast and judgments followed by match no.3 - An exciting tie on the edge of the New Forest at Hythe & Dibden CC

Wednesday 28th May (Day Five)

After the usual morning format, we leave for Match no.4 which is against Sarisbury CC (just outside Southampton). After the match our hosts are generously putting on a BBQ to help us prepare for our last night of tour...

Thursday 29th May (Day Six)

Almost there now!! - The fines committee should be showing leniency by this stage. Match no. 5 is confirmed against Wimborne CC which looks a real cracker!!

Cost:

We have managed to get enough people to tour to keep the price very competitive. To tour the whole 5 nights / 6 days will cost just £300... and then knock £50 off per night so 4 nights is £250, 3 nights £200 and 2 nights £150.

What do you get for your money?:

You get all the accommodation (all en-suite rooms), travel to and from the South Coast, opportunity to play in the tour matches. The fees also pay for two match balls per game, teas and a presentation shirt to each host team. Every tourist will also receive a quality tour playing shirt, a tour polo shirt and a tour smart shirt to arrive at the games.

Places:

We already have 22 people coming along (for either part or all tour) which is a great effort. Remember though, the more we get to join us, the cheaper the overall price. To avoid disappointment though, get your £100 deposits in early to Chris Bridges or Russ Thomas
