The Society for Post-Critical and Personalist Studies (SPCPS) was formed in 2004, and took over the publication of Appraisal. The Society aims to promote interest in, and further application of, the work of Michael Polanyi and similar thinkers, by publishing a journal, organising conference, and other activities. All individual members receive the Society's journal Appraisal, and likewise all individual subscribers to Appraisal will become members of the SPCPS. Appraisal welcomes articles, discussion items and book reviews, on all aspects of philosophy and on the application of philosophical ideas to other areas of thought and practice.
