Our first Boxer was purchased as a companion in 1976, he was a red & white male called 'Linmeath Onieda', we attended a small local show and were given lots of encouragement from fellow exhibitors & his breeder. Needless to say the show bug got us right there and then. We soon realised that he wasn't good enough for the showring, (although we did win a Reserve Best in Show with him!) and so, we set about searching for our first show bitch.
After reading many Boxer books and making a few phone calls, we made an appointment to see a brindle & white bitch puppy 'Mandine Lucky Pick'. The breeding of this bitch was mainly 'Wardrobes' This was to be our foundation bitch!

'Lucky Pick' certainly lived up to her name, she was rarely out of the placings at Championship shows, and won our very first Championship red card at The British Boxer Club Championship Show. Three years later she produced our first home bred show winner, Abythorn Secret Agent J.W.

'Investigator' although not used extensively at stud, produced Champion Skelder Singing Sleuth' for Mrs. Joy Malcolm of the famous 'Skelder Boxers'. Investigator also sired 'Abythorn Mooonlightin at Carmondene' who won 2 Res CC's.
Investigator twice represented our kennel at the 'Cotswold Boxer Club Dog of the Year Finals'
Showing and breeding practically ceased during the 1990's, due to family upheaval, but has recommenced here in Essex. In 2003 we mated 'Flashnik Goldie Hawn' a Ch. Blueprint Beern Skittles daughter to the top producing Int. & World Ch. Perico Du Val D' Europe. We have now combined the best UK lines with the top producing European lines, and hope exciting times are ahead. Using the best bloodlines in Europe and the UK will not be a one off venture, this is a long term project to try and regain some of the features we are in danger of losing. We hope to improve shoulders, size of teeth & wider jaws. Hopefully introducing new bloodlines to blend with quality UK lines, will be of benefit to others as well as ourselves by creating a larger gene pool.
