Dance
| GCSE Dance students follow the AQA GCSE Dance course. Formal written homeworks are not set on a weekly basis, but dance students will be expected to complete the following: | |

Thirty minutes per fortnight reviewing theory work from lessons. This
is essential for section A of the written exam Ten minutes after every lesson making notes in their choreographic diaries on their progression of practical dance Thirty minutes per week dance practice, essential for the practical assessment within the course |
| Two
written assessment tasks will be completed in the Autumn term. These
will be short essay-based questions on the GCSE Professional works
studied in the course. Details of these assignments and their deadlines will be issued to students at the appropriate time. |
