Dear Parents

On Monday, 18 October 2004 there will be a Year 7 enrichment trip. We will be taking the whole year group to London to visit the Science and Natural History museum.

The day will provide an opportunity to see a huge 3D film that uses state of the art technology with the museums IMAX cinema.

We will be leaving college at 9 a.m. and returning to college at approximately 4.30 p.m. ­ 5.00 p.m.

The students will need to bring a packed lunch and they will be supervised by members of staff at all times.

To cover the cost of the coaches and entry to the IMAX cinema the cost of this trip is £12.00 (Please make cheques payable to Bicester Community College) and return as soon as possible.

Under the school’s Charging Policy, the visit cannot take place unless voluntary contributions are forthcoming. Students who are eligible to go on a visit, and for whom a contribution has not been made, will be able to go if the visit takes place.
ii.
I understand that all reasonable care will be taken to ensure the safety of those in the party. I accept that the Council’s insurance does not cover personal accident (or injury to members of the party or damage/loss to personal property unless it can be shown that this is due to negligence of the Council’s employees, helpers and assistant for the trip. I understand that insurance against personal accident and loss or damage to personal property is my responsibility.
iii.
Students whose parents or guardians fail to return this consent form by the deadline stated, will not be eligible to go on the visit.
iv.
I understand that if payments made in order to secure a booking have been, or are required to be passed through to an agent organising a visit or residential, they will be non-refundable.
