Dear Parent
We have secured 40 places at Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College on Friday, 4 February 2005 as part of our school enrichment programme.
The university, in conjunction with Aim Higher, are offering a Year 10 Passport Programme designed to increase the aspirations of young people to stay on in education after GCSE’s, and to inspire them to aim towards higher education. The sessions are designed specifically for the age group and aims to look at their next step on the road to success. As example of the day’s events is attached.
The visit is free and Bicester Community College staff will be accompanying the students for the day.
The coach will leave Bicester Community College at 8.45am and the estimated time of arrival back to college is 4.00pm.
Students are not required to wear school uniform but we expect them to dress appropriately.
A free lunch will be provided. It is advisable for the students to have pens with them.
Please complete the permission form attached and return to tutors by Tuesday, 25 January 2005. The first 40 students to return their permission forms will be considered for a place.
