Dear Parent
The Department of Education and Employment require us to produce accurate statistics each year on which next years funding for the College is based. Most of this information we hold automatically and can produce easily each year.
However, we do need to keep up-to-date records on the number of students whose families are entitled to a Support Payment. The relevant Support Payments are:
• |
Income Support (IS) |
• |
Income Based Job Seekers Allowance (IBJSA) |
• |
Support under the Immigration & Asylum Act 1999 |
• |
Child Tax Credit, but who are not entitled to a Working Tax Credit, and whose annual income (as assessed by the Inland Revenue) is at or below a certain limit (revised annually |
The more students we have whose families are receiving Support, the more money the school receives. Not only do we need this information for the DfEE, but it also enables us to help students who need to take part in a visit in curriculum time, or wish to undertake an activity or residential course, where finance is going to prove a problem.
I would therefore be most grateful if you could take a minute or two to complete the following return. It is important that we have a reply from each family.
Thank you, in anticipation, for your support in this matter.
Yours sincerely
Cynthia Bartlett
