Dear Parent,
As you aware, year 11 students have been completing their GCSE Geography coursework on coastal defence at Barton on Sea. The final deadline for handing in this piece of work has now passed and your son/daughter has not handed their work in. In order to finish and collect in this vital piece of coursework a series of catch-up sessions are scheduled for the following dates:
Monday 29th November
Tuesday 30th November
Wednesday 1st December
Thursday 2nd December
These sessions run from 3.10- 4.10 pm and are compulsory for all students involved. Once the completed coursework has been handed in then the students are no longer required to attend. Non-attendance of these sessions will result in further sanctions being applied. Access to school computers and advice from teachers will be made available at these sessions.
As this work is worth 25% of the total GCSE mark I hope I can count on your support on this issue. If you require further details please do not hesitate to contact me.
