A Find a photo of yourself and write under it: Bonjour, je m’appelle ……….
B Teach introductory conversation to parent/brother/sister at home
C Learn commands for : Jacques a dit
D Learn numbers 1 ­ 16 or make lotto card
E Learn numbers 17 ­ 31 or make lotto card
F Practise tongue twisters or make lotto card
G Design a poster of the months in French
H Draw a graph showing the birthdays of the members of your class. Label it in French
I Find ten words which are similar in French and English
J Learn a selection of nouns which take ‘un’ and others which take ‘une’
Second Half Term
A Learn school equipment vocabulary, including whether they take ‘un/le’ or ‘une/la’. Make a list for ‘la rentree’ or make a poster of ‘offres speciales pour la rentree’
B Draw and label a plan of your French classroom
C Learn school subjects
D Write out your own timetable in French
E Learn the endings for ‘er’ verbs in the present tense
F Worksheet about when the letter ‘c’ sounds soft or hard. Draw a poster advertising yourself ­ include likes and dislikes
G Learn the days of the week
H Draw and label a simplified plan of the school
I Find out how Christmas is celebrated in other European countries
J Revision of the term’s work
