Year 7 Homework will be taken from the following list:

A

A tonal pencil drawing of a pair of glasses or sunglasses emphasising the reflections and shapes on the surface of the lenses.

B

A pencil or ink study of a hand holding a picture playing card (Jack, Queen, King, or Ace)

C Two studies, one in pencil and one in water colour crayon, of a whole pepper and a section of pepper.
D

A tonal pencil drawing of a very small object enlarged e.g. a safety pin, drawing pin or pencil sharpener etc.

E A tonal pencil drawing and a water colour crayon study of three different shaped leaves.
F A coloured pencil crayon study outlined with a black fineliner of a North American Indian totem pole.
G A pencil or water colour crayon study of a pair of football or hiking boots.
H A colour study in pencil crayon or water colour paints of a spiky conker casing split open to show the conker inside.
I A pencil or water colour crayon study of a group of four gardening tools or implements e.g. wheel barrow, garden shears, gloves or spray bottle etc.
J A coloured pencil crayon study of a group of five different Liquorice Allsorts.
K A tonal pencil study of a group of at least threemushrooms, one of which must be turned upside down to show the ribbing.
L A pencil or water colour study of an interesting hat or other type of head gear.
M A close upstudy in pencil of a wild animal e.g. Lion, Elephant or Zebra etc.
N A pencil or ink study of a musical wind instrument e.g. trumpet, clarinet, flute or trombone etc.
O A pencil or pencil crayon study of several sticks of celery or rhubarb with leaves.

B A pencil drawing of a reptile, concentrating on texture
C Design a mirror frame based on an underwater theme
D Draw a shellfish or starfish
E Find out five facts about Pablo Picasso
F Draw a self portrait by using a mirror
G Draw your side profile using a photograph
H Produce a title page for Cubism
I Draw a large eye, nose and mouth
J Draw a feather using pen and ink
