Beginners Workshop

Roy & Trish will be teaching a beginner’s workshop on Sunday the 4^th October

at the High Lane Village Hall from 2pm till 5pm.

This will be split into three 50 minute sessions with a 10 minute break between.

Refreshments will be provided.

 The workshop will cover the following:

Lead & follow

Technique & Footwork

Having the right posture

How to spin, single & double

Building up routines for free style dancing

How to dance in freestyle with confidence.

12 basic moves will be covered during the three sessions

The workshop is aimed at dancers with between 1 to 3 months experience.

You don't need a partner to book.

We can pair you with somebody who also hasn't got a partner.

That way we can maintain equal numbers so that nobody is stood out during the workshop.

The cost for the workshop is £20 per person, (£5 deposit when you book)..

 

Intermediate Workshop

Saturday 24th October at High Lane Village Hall from 2pm to 5.30pm

We will be running an intermediate workshop for dancers of at least 9 months experience.

 This 3 hour intensive workshop will cover style, technique, musicality and some lovely moves.

We will look at musical phrasing and where stops and breaks are.

Listening to different pieces of music and applying counting/phrasing etc

Lots of tips to improve you’re dancing and to give it that WOW factor.

Social Drops & Seducers Workshop

Sunday 29^th November at the High Lane Village Hall from 2pm till 5.30pm.

Enhance your dancing, look superb and get noticed!

Roy & Trish will take you through a series of 9 Drops and Seducers

with clear and easy to follow instructions that to make your freestyle eye-catching!

Style tips are also included.

These Drops and Seducers can be used on the social dance floor on any dance night.

All the moves are completely leadable and great fun to dance.

This is a must for those who want to take their dancing to the next level.

Refreshments will be provided.

A minimum of 4 months dance experience is required.

The cost for the workshop is £20 per person, or £35 per couple

(£5 deposit when you book).

If you would like to repeat any of our workshops as a refresher the cost is only £10.
