Leisure Lakes have five shop locations, including one near M1 Junction 25 which makes it convenient for East Midlands riders. Their focus is on mountain biking and similar, rather than road bikes. They also have on-line shopping, but the shops are the best feature as the staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Prices are generally competitive.
An on-line cycling emporium! We've used them a couple of times and had good results. If nothing else, it's a good site to see what's available and to check prices.
Very similar to Wiggle, but I find it slower, and not as easy to navigate.
We've bought lots of gear at Halfords. They are the UK stockist for GT bikes. Their own brand products are often extremely good value (for example they have computers at £6.99 and £9.99 whereas the cheapest branded ones start at £13.99). The website, however, is pathetic. The only useful function is the store finder - that's where the hyperlink takes you. Don't bother with the rest!
