Bewick Moor - Summary

This route is harder work than the ascent and length imply. While not technically difficult much of the riding is across paths that hardly exist and therefore you will be cycling through heather and bogs, and carrying in some places. It is an exposed route and should only be attempted if you are well prepared. That having been said, you will be rewarded with excellent cycling across some fantastic country if you decide you're ready to tackle it.
