How Not To Argue 101
Readers need to take note of this warning (originally given on the opening page) before following the links below:
For anyone interested, check out the desperate 'debating' tactics used by Dialectical Mystics in their attempt to respond to my ideas.
You will no doubt notice that the vast majority all say the same sorts of things, and most of them pepper their remarks with scatological and abusive language. And they all like to make things up, too, about me and my beliefs.
25 years (!!) of this from Dialectical Mystics has meant I now take an aggressive stance with them every time -- I soon learnt back in the 1980s that being pleasant with them (my initial tactic) did not alter their abusive tone, their propensity to fabricate, nor reduce the amount of scatological language they used.
So, these days, I generally go for the jugular from the get-go.
Apparently, they expect me to take their abuse lying down, and regularly complain about my "bullying" tactics.
These mystics can dish it out, but clearly they cannot take it.
Given the damage their theory has done to Marxism, and the abuse they all dole out, they are lucky this is all I can do to them.

In the above, check out the increasingly irrational tone of 'Mr G' -- a comrade I agree with 99.9% of the time over other issues, as he knows --, but yet he cannot stomach having the sacred 'dialectic' comprehensively demolished, so devoted is he to its Hermetic Mysteries.

Readers will no doubt notice that the UK-comrades at the above site are just as capable as their mystical brethren internationally are of pontificating about my ideas without actually having read any of my Essays (examples of such can be found in the RevLeft links above). Even so, they are equally practiced at bluster, abuse and invention -- and of informing the world of the limitations of 'Formal Logic' from a position of total ignorance.
What a wonderful advertisement they are for the deleterious effect this 'theory' has had on otherwise radical minds!
Here, here, here and here are recent (November/December 2008) examples of the same sort of response from the same UK site where dialecticians cannot defend their 'theory' without resorting to prevarication and/or abuse. In many cases, they just become childish. And, there is yet more gratuitous abuse at the same site in January 2009, here.

Notice that this is an entirely different Forum, and these are non-Leninist comrades with whom I have never 'debated' before, but they still manage to make the same sorts of points as the mystical misfits did above, peppered, too, with the by now regulation-issue abusive remarks, compounded by lies and other diversionary tactics.

The first of the above has been reposted here; the ensuing marathon discussion is a mixture of more reasoned responses to some of my ideas inter-mingled with the same old dialectical abuse from others.
In fact, at the latter site, the character who runs the blog at the link above has also tried to 'debate' this with me, but is still quite happy to insult me for no good reason, and make stuff up about me. However, in this case, we encounter a new dialectical dodge -- one I have not seen before -- this character has become so desperate, he even denies I wrote these Essays! How he imagines that that neutralises their content perhaps only a professional will be able to tell us.
The other individual with whom I debated this at the above site is almost unique, too, in that 'he' has maintained a comradely respect for me throughout, which I have reciprocated.
And here is another example of the same sort of dialectical dissembling. [Readers are warned that this page takes a while to load.]
Yet more invention; yet more abuse. And all based on not having read my Essays! No surprise there, then.
And, just the other day, I discovered this Venezuelan site, where a comrade was quite happy to bad-mouth me even though, as far as I can tell, we have never crossed swords on the internet before. In fact, so desperate has this comrade become, he has even accused me of being a Yankee agent! [This 'debate' ended prematurely since the aforementioned comrade was banned from that site!]
Here is yet another recent example (December 2008) of the irrational and emotive response by UK comrades to my ideas (which also includes the usual scatological abuse).
Is there a single dialectician on the planet who can defend effectively the "world view of the proletariat"?
And, who can do so without resorting to the usual abusive, irrational and emotional response?
