Garry Smith, although he is a slide guitarist who plays a resonator guitar, prefers to avoid the obvious Blues repertoire, concentrating instead on his own songs and instrumentals and the work of writers such as Tom Waits, Joe Ely and Steve Earle. He can be sentimental, humorous or even occasionally political and takes inspiration from topics as diverse as middle-aged lust and the Tolpuddle Martyrs.(There might just be a bit of Blues in there too.)

Clive Carroll Anyone watching Clive performing must wonder at the hours of practice he has put in over the years to become such an amazing guitarist. I suppose when you think he started out playing banjo at the tender age of 2 before taking to guitar we shouldn't be surprised. He is constantly performing and also passing on some of his considerable knowledge by teaching/instructing and gentle coaxing at workshops and Residentails Schools throughout the year. This will be guitarist heaven concert and I expect tickets will sell out before the night.
