About Us:
This fine, Victorian vicarage stands in secluded grounds next to one of the oldest churches in Nottinghamshire (12th century) and is situated one mile from Newark Showground and two miles from the A1. Mary Queen of Scots is reputed to have stayed at Langford as guest of the Earl of Shrewsbury. Perhaps this is why it is so popular with honeymoon couples. Home-made bread is on the menu, and a family of dogs and cats are ready to give guests a warm welcome.

Jerry and Jillie Steele are both well travelled and take great pleasure in looking after guests from all over the world. They look forward to meeting them after 4.00 p.m. and would be grateful if they would leave before 11.00 a.m. on the day of departure.
