We are a proud but friendly club and operate with a small but dedicated membership and would welcome new members of all ages to join the club, either experienced bowlers or those who wish to take up the game, the club have a number of qualified coaches among the members. No experience is required and all current members would be more than happy to assist anyone who required help. Monday Evening from 6-30 – 8-o pm. from Mid April to September, is the club night, so if your interested in having a go just turn up. We have all the equipment that is required.
Beechwood Bowls Club was established in 1904 and the green is located in Beechwood Park on the eastern side of the city of Newport. We are affiliated to the WBA, MBA, & Newport BA, and we also accommodate friendly matches where possible. We are Currently in division 3 of the Monmouthshire Bowling Association League, and play mid week matches in the Newport league where this season we finished in 4th position,. We also run a Over Sixty Team that play in the local Over Sixty League run by the Newport B A.
