Location.
The event took place at Lynford near Mundford.   (Grid Ref
TL 812939).   The location of the site and the layout of the assembly area are both illustrated in the map page  identified in the NavBar.

From the South and West, proceed north from Thetford along the A134 Thetford to Kings Lynn Road,  as far as Mundford Village.  At Mundford turn right/north on the A1065 towards Swaffham. The event will be signposted from the  the south at the  Junction of the A1065 and A134  and from the North at Lynford Road on the A1065 just north of Mundford.

Dogs are allowed in the Assembly Area and in the forest but should be on lead at all times.

Details
The Forest:  Lynford comprises coniferous plantings, typical of much of Thetford Forest, together with smaller areas of deciduous woodland, an arboretum and old quarry workings. In the spring, much of the area will be highly runnable.

Organisation: Starts were available between 10.30 am and approximately 12.30 pm, depending on the entries. Club slots were based on a fixed rotation of two minute intervals.  Unused slots left by smaller club entries were used to accommodate overflow from larger entries and EA clubs not in the competition.

All courses shared a common start and finish and used  SI.  The Finish was adjacent to the download tent and the assembly area and was un-manned.

The Courses: The courses were arranged as follows. (For more information, please refer to the 2006 CSC Guidelines, which are included in this web site.)
