Final Details 

Car Parking, Assembly Area, Start and Finish
Parking for early arrivals is on a ride south of Lynford Road, but will then spill over onto the sides of Lynford Road itself. Please follow marshals’ instructions, park as tightly as possible, and be aware that local traffic may be using the road. Assembly is at the south end of the ride, and the Start a further 200m beyond it. The Finish adjoins the Assembly Area, and there is plenty of room to pitch club tents and watch the run-in! 

Facilities
St John Ambulance have been invited to attend.
Drinks will be provided at the Finish.
Portaloos will be placed adjacent to the Assembly Area.

 Clothing
There is no clothing transfer from the Start.

Road Crossing
All courses, apart from Orange, Yellow and White, cross a minor road which is out of bounds apart from when being crossed, which may be at any place as there are no manned crossing points. Notices will be placed to warn drivers, but traffic, though sparse, travels quickly, so please take great care!

Map Details
3 map scales are being used. All are A4 sized, pre-marked and bagged.
Non-standard map symbols
A non-standard symbol, a black cross, denotes a tripod on both the map and IOF description sheet.
Holly bushes are mapped as green dots and shown in the description sheet as thickets.
Stump banks are mapped as earthwalls.

Description Sheets.
 The description sheet is printed on the reverse of the map. IOF descriptions are used for all Cup and Trophy courses, but Orange also has text descriptions. White and Yellow have text descriptions.
Control Descriptions are downloadable from the web in both textual and symbolic format. Loose copies will be available from enquiries on the day.
To reduce the event to a manageable duration in view of the travelling,  there are separate ' No 3 - Blue Men’ courses  for Cup and Trophy. Please take care to pick up the correct map.

Courses

 Insurance
Whilst the event is covered by the normal BOF Event Insurance Policy,  competitors  should be aware that with regard to all other liabilities, they take part at their own risk.
