W. A. & A. C. Churchman 'Sporting Trophies'

Medium-sized card, no. 4 in a series of 12

Small-sized card, no. 7 in a series of 25

The Football League Championship Cup

Not specifically a Town card per se, but the interest lies in the fact that this card was issued at a time when Town were the reigning Champions, having won the trophy for a record-breaking third time in a row; they appear as the last three winners on the card. Priceless! Also, as you can see, it was available in two formats.

George Brown

As a very rare 'pair' card!

George Brown

The more usual 'cut' card ...

** Note that the 'pair' card is also an 'error' card, the reverse showing Brown's first initial as 'J'; in subsequent printings, the initial was omitted completely, showing just 'Brown' (see 'cut' card)
