This is the start of a section dedicated to mybaby who is currently (30/01/03) still hiding inside my wife (Haifa)!!

We have patiently waited for the 9 months that nature requires of us and I have managed to resist doing something like this.. but temptation has got the better of me and so here starts the journal of our little creation...

As we don't know what it's going to be, I have gone for this lovely shade of green... once I know I'll adjust the colour accordingly.. (Adjusted on the 18th to this much nicer blue!!)

Ok.. so here's the first photo of JUNIOR

I have ringed it so you can spot it.. as you can see, this was back in June when it was only about 2cm long...
I can assure you, it's a lot bigger now!!

It's been a very lively little thing in there and it certainly knows how and where to kick it's mother to make her feel really uncomfortable!

This is what it looked like in early Feb 2003

but mummy didn't want to show her tummy to the world so I had to remove it... but it was impressive!!

But should not be too long before we get to count it's fingers and toes....

16th Feb 2003...

Yesterday was the day we have been waiting for... it started on Friday morning and ran right through to 12:36am on Saturday when Rami Barnard was finally delivered into the world at a grand old 8lbs (3.63kg)

Poor Haifa did a good job and managed the whole thing on just gas&air.

So, what does he look like? Cute.. Very cute.. but then I'm his farther so I guess I'm a little biased :-)

Make up your own mind though....

Every day he becomes even more beautiful to me..and he did look wonderful those first few minutes, even covered in blood and gunk.. I always thought men who said that about their babies were just saying it... but now I know.. it's true! Someone else's baby might look like that, but you own?? He/She looks beautiful.
