At the interval during the performance of Shadowlands on Feb 7th 2005 Northenden Players presented a cheque for £530 to the Medequip4Kids appeal run on behalf of the Greater Manchester Ambulance Service. The money was mostly raised during the previous play when we held our Christmas Raffle and will buy two Pediatric Bags which will be carried by the ambulances specifically for use on children. The photo shows Northenden Players President, Rod Ashman, accompanied by the Chairman, Beryl Wilson handing the cheque to Rachel Jones from Medequip4Kids. Rachel gave a brief talk to the audience explaining how the bags will be used. More information can be found on the website link below. | ||
