21 members of NPTC attended the annual GMDF Awards night on June 26th at the Longfield Suite, Prestwich.
Northenden had 7 nominations in Section C as follows:-
Best Actress
Debra Grace of as Betty in `Breezeblock Park`
Best Supporting Actress
Barbara Bostock as Mrs Borridge in `The Cassilis Engagement`
Lauriston Trust Trophy - Best Actress Youth
Rowena Robinson as Sandra in `Breezeblock Park` and
Catherine Dillon as Ethel Borridge in `The Cassilis Engagement`
Frances Hargreaves Trophy – Costume Design & Creation

Frank Hillson Trophy – Set Design & Décor
`The Cassilis Engagement`
Philip Edwards Trophy – Best Lighting Design
`The Cassilis Engagement`

Debra Grace won the Best Actress Award for her role in Breezeblock Park.

As Debra was unable to attend on the night Bill Platt, a member of the cast, accepted it on her behalf.

Congratulations are also due to Barbara & Catherine, seen right in a scene from 'The Cassilis Engagement' ,on being nominated.

Congratulations to our fourth nominee, Rowena.

She is seen here during the production of Breezeblock Park.
