Hopefully, the Grim's first gigs should be Summer 2006-if they can stop writing new songs and concentrate on their live performances! Several venues have been "sounded out", and responses so far have been very encouraging.Details will be released first on this site, so keep checking. The gigs for late 2006 have had to be put on hold due to rehearsals and unforeseen circumstances.The band now hope to play live in early 2007-judging from the emails received so far,through this site,they are certain to be well attended.As stated on the News page of this site,the band are currently rehearsing several new songs to hopefully be included in their set.HOLD THE FRONT PAGE GRIM FANS! The debut gig has now been confirmed for Monday July 2nd, at the Leopard in Market Street, Burslem.Admission is free, the band are due on around 8.30pm The band's next gig has been announced, and it will again be at the Leopard, on Monday November 26th, again it's free. The band are currently checking with other venues before confirming dates, although they are believed to favour somewhere in Newcastle for the third one.23rd November-APOLOGIES TO ALL GRIM FANS-THE GIG AT THE LEOPARD HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO ILLNESS.FURTHER DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED ASAP.APOLOGIES AGAIN FOR ANY DISAPPOINTMENT, BUT THAT'S LIFE! NEW GIG DATE JUST ANNOUNCED..... IT'S THE LEOPARD IN BURSLEM, ON MONDAY APRIL 21ST, DUE ONSTAGE APPROX 8.30PM! 2nd July 2008- The Leopard gig was again a great success, and a good time was had by all. The band showcased a new track "Thinking of You", which was well received. As of today, the band are still awaiting confirmation of 2 local gig bookings, and news will appear on this site asap. Both gigs are likely to be in Newcastle. 9th September 2008 - As you are probably aware the band has been unable to perform live recently. They humbly apologise. This is due to unforeseen personal circumstances. The band plans to do a gig before Christmas, keep checking the site for details.
