Note from the webmaster!

Sorry that this website has not been updated for ages, but it was originally set up to keep interested parties up to date about the inaugural Amputee Track & Information Day in 2004.  Since I have not repeated the event in 2005 (despite plenty of enquiries) the website has lay a bit dormant.  Sorry about that.  I will endeavor to keep it a bit fresher from now on.

I intend to organise a 2006 Disabled Motorsport Track & Information day (updates to appear on here).  However, it remains a idea in my head.  No dates or venue have been booked yet...

The format will be similar to the 2004 event, with relevant displays and the opportunity to take to the track.  But I want it to be bigger and better, to appeal to a wider audience.  The event was originally devised for amputee motorcyclists, but very quickly other disabled motorsport groups, participants and enthusiast became interested.

Another change I hope to make will be to get exclusive use of the track, rather than hi-jacking and existing trackday.  Then we can have specific sessions for motorcycles; trikes & sidecars; quads; cars alike.

Anyway, that's all for next year.  I will keep you posted.

Please CONTACT US with any information; events; links; articles etc. relating to 'disabled' competitors and motorsport, be it 2-wheeled or 4 (in fact however many!)

The activities do not have to be specifically for the disabled, competing with 'able bodies'  is often even better and more newsworthy!
