Of the blood, but not the Crone...

Assamites

The East holds kindred who slay the crusaders, descended of a line whos name is cursed by Christians and the church invades their lands. Their story is all too familiar to me, and as long as they remain in their lands I wish them strength in their endeavours.

Brujah

Scholars? Their line is the most savage and violent of all the kindred, their lost dreams of their dead city shows that they have no vision for their future - only the lost hopes of the past. Yet they joined with Rome and mutter curses to those responsible under their breath, they are too afraid to act.

Cappadocians

They dabble endlessly trying to uncover the secrets of death when we know already it is just a face of the eternal cycle. They should open their eyes and listen to their bodyguards, the Lamia, the daughters of Lileth understand more of death than their gravedigging companions ever will.

Followers of Set

Ancient ruins where the crusaders call the holy lands hide a sleeping serpent god, and they strive to raise him once again so they might ascend to glory. Oh, that we might organise ourselves, like them, to awaken the Crone. Respect their devotion. Fear their determination. Never trust them for a moment.

Gangrel

Once they ran with us in the forests, shared territory with us, fought with us against the others. They were the closest to us, even if their blood was not of the Crone. Now they hunt us like dogs.

Lasombra

Loathsome manipulators of the darkness, Rome and the church. Their desire for power and control swept aside our traditional lands as they strove to surpass the Ventrue.

Malkavians

Madness can bring insight, madness can show visions beyond what the eye can see; but these disturbed kindred were another consort of Rome, and for that they must truly be mad indeed. Listen to what they say, but listen to your own thoughts first.

Nosferatu

Like rats they hide from the night, skulking, sneaking and gathering their most treasured possession, secrets. They can find out nearly everything, they follow nearly anyone. Be careful around them, if you must deal with them make sure they never suspect, make sure you have something else to interest their thirst for the hidden.

Ravnos

Shunned, loathed and mistrusted by almost all the other clans, members of this line are perhaps the last of what we might call friend. They understand the history, the old world and it's secrets. But never trust them with anything you'd rather not loose.

Toreador

Lost in their visions of beauty and splendour their souless eyes stare like burnt out lamps at the creations they continually strive to better. Their spirits are as empty as their vacant minds, entranced by the decadent elegance they surround themselves with. There is no essence to the workings of the hand and mind made for ones own ego.

Tremere

Greedy magi who turned to blood for a step to power and immortality beyond what their arts could already provide. Now their find themselves hunted and shunned by the other lines for this greedy. They respect only power and magic. They work only with each other and treat everyone else as a disposable resources.

Tzimisce

Vile sorcerers of flesh and mind, their twisted blood-magik is an insult to the creations of the Crone. They seek only to lord over others, twist them into new and horrifying creatures for their own perverse ends.

Ventrue

Power. That's all a Ventrue cares about. They and the Lasombra spearheaded the sweep of Rome over our lands and now when the empire is gone they take up the reins of power and tell us how to live in lands we have dwelt in before Rome even existed.

Baali

We know there is darkness in all things, light cannot exist without dark, two cycles of the circle. These deluded fools have embraced that darkness and and lost the light they are lost it all and do not care.

Werewolves

Noble, fearsome and mighty warriors, the Werewolves hunt us now as the fight for the few precious sacred sites intensifies. Yet they are close to us in their fight for Gaia, they are a part of the old world as are we. Strive to win their respect if you can, or hide yourself a dozen valleys away from them.

Mages and Magi

Workers of the magic of the mind, not the blood. They too are feeling the bite of the church on their influence and their power, and they know the taste of treachery from the Tremere. Magi are best left alone.

Wraiths

Lost souls and spirits who are unable to feel the release of this stage of the circle, tied by purpose they haunt this land waiting to finish their tasks here so they can be taken into the cycle once again.
