Rule 6

Can I draw peoples attention to rule 6. We had an incident recently where it became apparent that maybe the rule is not clear. Just to clarify you can pick your 6 singles out who are to be drawn if you so wish but not your pairs or triple. Any players not drawn in the first 6 are entered for the pairs , out of  the 6 singles players enough are drawn out to make 6 players for the pairs. All name tiles are again turned over and 3 picked out to play the triples. To reiterate you cannot pick out your pairs or triple..

Glenn gets a 7 darter.

Dykes End captain Glenn Newman scored a 7 dart leg against Pete Eusden in the match against  the HalfCrown on 19th April 2011.  A double 7 in  was followed by 19 , T19 , T19 , T20 , T18 and Double Top out. Brilliant darts.
