EVANGELICAL INCLUSIVISM AND UNLIMITED ATONEMENT

Inclusivism Explained and Defended

PLEASE NOTE: THE FULLY UDATED VERSION OF THIS PAGE WITH SEVERAL ADDITIONAL ARTICLES IS HERE.

This is a page of articles explaining and confirming that Evangelical Inclusivism is the most wholly biblical viewpoint to hold on the salvation status of the human race; while we ourselves support 'New Covenant theology' and 'Four Point Calvinism' (rejecting 'limited atonement' teaching), we must acknowledge that 'Calvinism' (as a hardened religious philosophy which developed after Calvin's death) has encouraged a pessimistic view of human salvation which is simply unscriptural! By the way, we firmly separate ourselves from the liberal form of Inclusivism which John Hick and others teach which denies the authority of the Word of God. We also tend to reject 'emergent church' teaching even though it is somewhat sympathetic to Inclusivism.

Not sure what Inclusivism is? For a complete (but simple) explanation, go here first:
Theological Inclusivism, Exclusivism, Universalism etc, etc., What Do All These Terms Mean?
Now, if you are really ready to delve into the good news of Christian Evangelical Inclusivism, here are some essays:
(By the way, after each essay, pressing 'Back' on your browser will bring you back here)

AN EVANGELICAL INCLUSIVIST DEFENDS EVANGELICAL INCLUSIVISM
(A complete approach which is both philosophical and theological, backed up with many Scriptures. B.G. of Kentucky made this generous comment, "I have been a Christian for 40 years and a minister for 20 of them and this is the most encouraging thing I have ever read; moreover, I cannot refute the writer at any point, although he overturns many things I have spoken from the pulpit").

TO EVANGELIZE THE LOST - WHY WE SHOULD DO IT
(A lighter approach in quite a brief article).

WILL MOST OF THE HUMAN RACE GO TO HELL?
(Quite theological, but well worth persevering with).

CAN REGENERATION OCCUR WITHOUT A REPENTANCE EXPERIENCE?
(In which Mr Brace tackles several points related to Inclusivism. A highly encouraging article. For me, this is the most complete and successful defense of Evangelical Inclusivism one may find anywhere: I believe that any deeply rooted in the Bible, who can put aside their doctrinal prejudices/presuppositions will come to agree with the writer).

RE-EXAMINING THE TRUE ROOTS OF EXCLUSIVISM

THE UTTER FOLLY OF CHRISTIANS ARGUING OVER HELL!
(This is, I believe, highly informative but also highly encouraging. Bad news for those who revel in hellfire!!)

THE CASE FOR UNLIMITED ATONEMENT
(Ron Rhodes argues the case for Unlimited Atonement very successfully. Unlimited Atonement is not exactly the same thing as Evangelical Inclusivism, although Evangelical Inclusivists are bound to support Unlimited Atonement. Mr Rhodes' personal position on this, however, is almost identical to mine).

A ROMANS ONE ARGUMENT FOR INCLUSIVISM
(This outstanding essay appear on the internet completely anonymously, but it is excellent).

WHAT ABOUT THOSE WHO HAVE NEVER HEARD?
(This is Glenn Miller's superb defence of the Inclusive God. Miller is a philosopher/theologian who is an exceptionally clear and logical thinker and refuses to be swayed by any denominational prejudices. His knowledge of the Holy Bible is exceptional, as is his knowledge of early Christian history and every conceivable creed and confession. This is a man whose views just cannot be discounted!)
