The pictures here were all taken using various pieces of the following equipment. Celestron c8 sct, Helios

130mm short tube newtonian , skywatcher 102mm refractor, long exposure modified philips 740k webcam

sometimes attached to the telescope  sometimes using  a vivitar 70-150mm slr camera lens  and a minolta dimage

Jupiter the largest planet (and easiest target) is made of gas and is 142,884 km in diameter and

778,3000,000 km from the sun

  Saturn the next largest planet has a diameter of 120,536 km and is 1,427,000,000 km from the sun
     Mars the famous red planet is 6,794 km in diameter and 228,000,000 km from the sun
      Uranus, diameter 51,118 km distance from the sun 5,900,000,000 km and a very long way from us.
   The Moon nobody could miss it and a very easy target for pictures, you don't even need a telescope.
    Deep space, very faint and sometimes very hard to photograph all with distances measured in light years
