If you are interested in attending one of our talks then I'm sure you will have heard of our home. When considering where we should meet I thought of having it in my own home town, but after some careful consideration I decided everyone knows where Stoney Cove is!!
EMUP will be meeting downstairs in Nemo's Bar, this is Stoney Cove's own pub.
Meetings will start at 7:30 for a 7:45 talk start.
All pub facilities will be open so refreshments will be on hand

evening format
Each monthly meeting will be centred around an invited talker, which will set a theme for the evening. Not all invited talkers offer talks of the same length, so the format will be something like:
7:30 - Arrive for a 7:45 kick off time
7:45 - Intro
7:50 - Main talkers first half
8:30 - interval for refreshements
9:00 - Main talkers second half
9:20 - Competition time
9:45 - Eveing should be concluded by 9:45, time for a drink before leaving?
Nemo's bar is not free to hire. Not all talkers offer their services for free. Therefore there are expenses involved in putting on EMUP. Because of this an entrance charge has to be made, which at the moment has not been decided. I personally don't favour membership, but if this becomes necessary then so be it.
