ESL RACE RULES
Trophies will be awarded to the OVERALL CHAMPION of the following categories
(A) (B) (Vets A & B) (Team Prize) (Juniors) (Ladies) (Best International rider)
Cups and prizes to be given out at the prize presentation following the last race of the 16 weeks
Prize monies must be collected at the prize presentation
or no later than the AGM of that season
Points awarded will be amassed in their respective races, the points values are as follows:-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1.
All league points will be awarded to the winners and down to 8th place and count towards their respective Championship.
In the event of equal points, in any of the categories this will be decided on count back with the highest places gained through out the 15 week series.
Prime points will be awarded 3-2-1 per prime, and will be separate from the Overall General Classification.
The races will have a team competition, points gained by the 3 highest placed riders overall from the same team or club in the "A" race and 3 in the "B" race.
Riders in the "B" race will be up graded to the A race once 20 points is reached. The points gained in the "B" races will remain and prize money awarded accordingly.
The "B" league winner will be decided on the rider with the highest placing on count back
The ladies & Jun points will be accumulated from a sliding scale as per the amount of ladies & Jun starting i.e.
5 riders = 5-4-3-2-1points, 4 riders = 4-3-2-1points, 3 riders = 3-2-1points, 2 riders = 2-1points, 1 rider = 1pt.
Race numbers must be clearly visible to the
Photo finish camera,
failure to conform to this, you will not be placed on the result sheet.
