Frank
Winfield (left) joined the Long Eaton Silver Prize Band on 18th October 1933,
and was to remain with the band for almost thirty years until his resignation in
February 1963. For many years Frank was the the band’s principal trombone. His
niece, Mrs Beverley Gunn, presented the band with his memorabilia in January
1994.
