Poem writen for Aimee by Mummy
My Little girl is one now
Where has the year gone
It seams just like yesterday that she was born
A helpless little bundle, a presious gift from God.
Milestones
Aimee first climbed the stairs when she was just over 1yr on the 25th July 2006. She started giving kisses when asked when she was 14mths on the 26th August 2006. Aimee came out of cot and went into a toddler bed at 19mths on the 24th February 2007. In April 2007 at 21mths Aimee got her first trike 
she loves taking her baby for a ride it it. 30th May 2007 Aimee showed an intresed in potty training at 22mths when she sat on the potty for the first time and did a wee. She has since sat on it a few more times but not done a wee on it, that is till yesterday when we got home from toddlers she sat on it and did a wee it's just a shame she still had her nappy on but I know the wee was done while sitting on the potty as had just checked to see if it needed changing and was dry. When I took it of so she could sit on potty it was wet and still warm. Aimee is dry by her second birthday.
Food
Aimee loves her food. She is very good at eating her fruit and veg. She use to love tomatoes and cucumber but has gone of them just now. Aimee has pinched some of my curry of me before and enjoyed it - I guess that was because it was want I lived on in the last few months of my pregnancy with her. In February 2007's half term Rob gave Aimee a little peanut butter and she had a reaction. Her skin went red and blotchy and she swelled up a bit. We were worried that she had a nut allergy but the blood test results were normal which is a real answer to pray for us. June 2007 favorite food is cheese she asks for it at every meal.

Speech
We are using baby sign language with Aimee (Sing and Sign), she can sign and say a few words now. She dosn't put many words together yet but is trying she can say 'thats my bru bru' (which means 'thats my brother').
Her speech is clear most of the time and few people have problems understanding her. She has a wide range of words she can say. Her favourites at the moment are 'mine' and 'no'. Aimee loves animals and can say and sign 'cat', 'dog', and 'duck'. Aimee is albe to tell us that she is hungery and thristy with both words and signs.
Favorite Things and Play Time
Aimee loves dolls if she sees one one she wants it, she also loves playing tea parties. She has a few cuddley rabbits that she loves. Her best friends are Ruby and Logan. She sucks her tumb and loves to play with my hair when tired. Aimee loves helping me to do housework and is always following me around, helping when I am doing the housework
