We our a sunday team playing friendlies in and around the Essex area with the emphasis on enjoying the game and having a bit of fun.

A Message for Overseas Players
I receive many e-mails from overseas players and their agents, seeking a contract with an English club. I cannot reply to them all personally, so the following statement has been prepared to ensure that overseas players target their approaches effectively:
"Mulberry (Essex) Cricket Club welcomes new players of all abilities and has enjoyed the additional dimension that overseas players have brought to our club in recent seasons. We do however ask all overseas players seeking an English club to note that we are a 100% amateur club playing friendly, but competitive, village cricket. We exist on meagre resources and voluntary effort and regret therefore that we are unable to assist overseas players with air fares, accommodation or employment."
